Have you tried to make a clean build, i.e remove all existing .ppu and
.o files.
You can do this by executing
make clean
in the lazarus directory, or by checking the "clean all" checkbox in the
"configure build lazarus" dialog.
For the packages you may have to remove the .ppu and .o files yourself.
