But if you do this you will potentially include 2 icon sets for every program ... the default and the one of the platform ...

I would put the default icons on include files and then the widget set can include the default icons it needs if it doesn´t have it´s own.

I also think it is important to have an option (compile directive?) for having no glyphs.
