That is advanced usage. The vast majority of persons using a computer has
just 1 screen.
MDI is very useful for beginning users.
Word, Excel, Access etc. partly thank their popularity to this.
We did a "user-friendliness" study for our programs, which have a large
user base of mostly people unexperienced with computers, and MDI is one of
the pluses, not a minus.
Power users may prefer to have SDI, but MDI definitely has it's uses,
and therefore should be implemented.
