That's plainly nonsense. As you can see, even the lazarus and free pascal contributors are little compared with other OSS projects. The OSS idea is very weak in the delphi/object pascal world. Even worse, a lot parts of delphi are written in C++ e.g. the compiler (afaik). So to contribute to an Open Delphi, it would be required that people are interested in OSS and that they know C++.
