Hi,
Are there any developers working exclusively (full time) on Lazarus.
Mattias? How do you guys manage to spend such a lot of time on
Lazarus, if you need to work in another job?
AFAIK no one is working exclusively on lazarus yet. We just manage to use
fpc/lazarus in job/school/university.
I am just amazed at the speed at which issues get resolved. Very
impressive!
Thanks.
But the popularity of lazarus is getting overwhelming and we need help. The
bug tracker is filling with hundreds of requests, sometimes 20 per day. Many
of the reports don't need much knowledge of lazarus internals. We are
searching for moderators, who will answer the misunderstandings, mark the
duplicates, ask the bug reporters for more details and/or point to the wiki.
I think it may be a good idea to post something of this kind on the Lazarus
website: "Help wanted"
Michael.
