Nice. I've been thinking to write a component somewhat along these
lines for ages - but for Delphi -, but never managed to spend the
time on it as I've seldom used Delphi for the last 3 or 4 years... But
I probably have some initial code somewhere ;-)
My main 3 objectives were:
- make the image(s) independant of Windows version and desktop depth;
- allow compressed images;
- make the individual images independant (so the DFMs would stop
exploding the repository size ;-)
So my idea was to implement some kind of "TImageCollection" which
would allow images to be accessed by index and by name and would
provide a Windows ImageList to be used with Common Controls...
What do you think?
