3impact is a game engine (see their demos, very cool). Very cheap with no
royalties paid per game etc. (buy once), one year upgrades for free, next
years upgrade with discount. Have also a collaborative license (half-price)
for non-commerical usage. Also can arrange to get collaborative license from
3impact team if you contribute something (they can assign a task to you,
e.g. make some 3D models, some cool demo etc.)

There are various convertions of its C API, among those the Delphi API I
created (over it I made an OOP layer that is more Delphi and COM like in
programming style).

I'd love to see a Lazarus conversion of those, since Lazarus is free and
cause that conversion will help promote Lazarus/FPC to more people (game
development people usually like Pascal anyway)

The raw API conversion is there (just the package, with Delphi-compatibility
option), but doesn't work OK either cause it doesn't build the DLL to the
correct folder, or cause I did something wrong with the data
"packing/alignment" (maybe FPC is different from Delphi6-7 in that?). My
goal is to keep the same source base for Lazarus and Delphi, not have
separate sources

Similarly easy should be able to convert the OOP API (although not sure if
FPC supports "Interaces")
