[lazarus] Process.ExitStatus after run windows CMD

I execute the Execute method of TProcess class to run a FPC program.
When I test TProcess.ExitStatus property it 
always returns the decimal value 259. My FPC DOS 
program ends via the "end."(e.g., there is abnormal end).

I would like to know if there is a way of test 
successfull execution of DOS process of this kind.
