What does this exactly have to do with Lazarus/fpc? Maybe you could better add a link to a RPM/SPEC tutorial. Your story isn't everywhere completely correct, and some vital parts are missing. You can correct it and try to write a rpm-tutorial yourself, but there are lots of those already... There are also several tools available to ease the work. For example, your explanation of the creation of the buildtree isn't complete. But there are tools to do that for you: http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/fedora-rpmdevtools Most commonly used rpm-tutorial: http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-rpm1/ http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-rpm2/ http://www-128.ibm.com/developerworks/library/l-rpm3/ Regards, Joost. _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject archives at http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailarchives
