The release is using fpc 2.0.2. FPC 2.0.2 doesn't have support for
mysql5.
The snapshots are built with fpc 2.1.1. There is no fpc release with
mysql5 support.
If you want to use mysql5, you need to use a snapshot.

Just to add something,for wince you must have the latest fpc version,as it
uses some new features of it.
