Sorry, my poor english.
I made download in http://tdbf.sourceforge.net/ . The version in http://tdbf.sourceforge.net/ works. But not as lcl component. Therefore it gives conflict Dbf.pas unit, if you trying to install the new tdbf component. So, I removed DBFLaz 0.1.1 package and I added it as a simple set of units in my project and into my project directory.
Thus making,
Dbf1 := TDbf.Create(nil); //in run-time mode
...
Dbf1.Locate(.....); //I tested and the locate method works.
Does has Somebody one better solution?

Both these units are from FPC. The Lazarus releases are build with the sources of
the last fpc release, fpc 2.0.2, from last November.
