Thanks Michael,

I am debating either starting from scratch or trying to convert. As alot of the original code was based heavily on GDI+ api calls, I am strongly leaning towards a total rewrite and using the original code as scratch/prototype code.

I am going to rely heavily upon existing functionality within Lazarus/FPC so, where is the best place to start looking for the level of graphical ability/support and UI code?

I will also need some sort of print functionality - where can I find a primer on the state of printing support?

Sorry to hit you with all these questions but I have found the wiki to be less than helpful in many ways.

best regards

Dalton

It's there all right, but if you look carefully at classesh.inc you'll see that it is commented out. So the compiler is right in telling you that it is not defined.

However, it should not be hard to cook up an implementation, it's an easy class. Glad to see that you put conversion to Lazarus/FPC as the first item in your plan for the project :)

Michael.
