That's not true.
You can get the same feel & look and behavior with Java/Swing.
Also, you can get the same behavior (but not L&F) with eclipse's SWT.


And the age old problem of Java still exists. The GUI tends to be slow
and is a memory hog!  I love the language though.  We evaluated 5
different languages with their related frameworks before we decided on
Free Pascal and Lazarus.  ;-)

Oh, and for the L&F issue, fpGUI has build-in themes for the most
common looks on each platform.
