Hi, Not sure if its just me, but here goes. When the cursor moves past the properties of the object inspector a tooltip will show a short description of the property under the cursor (this is normal). But if the cursor is moved up and down a few more times, "tooltip trails" start to appear, see screen shot:
http://sg.geocities.com/funkybeast888/lazarus_tooltip.png Notice the free memory at the KDE Info Center drops and never returns. After that, let the cursor stay on one of the property and the tooltip starts to blink rapidly. Now, the free memory displayed on the KDE Info Center drops rapidly and never returns. Further testing after restarting Lazarus shows that the tooltip for the object inspector doesn't show until the occurrence of one of those that are too long to display for the tooltip to kick in. And it seems that memory starts to leak (or THintWindow starts to replicate) from then on. I didn't noticed this until the "Runaway Process" applet tells me that Lazarus is slowing the system down. At that time, the cursor was parked at the object inspector. using Lazarus SVN: 9819 FPC 2.0.4 Regards Funky Beast _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject archives at http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailarchives
