Please, do not respond with sarcasm. Florian is a dedicated developer and we owe him a lot. The reality is that cross-compiling is extremely complex. Acctually it´s so complex that c++ developers have to use Live CDs to run some cross-compilers, because configuring them is extremely hard, and destroys the configuration of a normal desktop. Free Pascal users already can benefit from being able to cross-compile without the need of Live CDs. That´s already much better. Also there are many other things involved on cross-compiling other then Free Pascal itself. You need the correct GNU cross-binutils, which may not even exist for the combination of platforms you are looking for. Also, some cross-compilation options are already distributed for easy install, such as a RPM Package for Linux To Windows cross-compilation. For other things involving cross-compilation, please read the documentation: http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Cross_compiling -- Felipe Monteiro de Carvalho _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject archives at http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailarchives
