I've tried a lot of things, here's the nearest solutions so far :
Open a seperate process, use IrfanView with command line parameters to
resize each image on the fly. It's a LITTLE slow, but it works very well and
I don't need to bother with any fancy things. The plus side is that
IrfanView can adjust the DPI and colour-depth of the image on the fly as
well. This time I'll avoid reinventing the wheel and use an existing one.
Funny that the Delphi 7 they use at work scales images the same way that I
tried ?
