I must admit, MSEgui is much further along than fpGUI. But there is
enough differences (goals) between the two, to justify my time working
on fpGUI. Martin Schreiber has done a cracking job with MSEgui
features, but I find it really hard to read the code. Martin's coding
style is very unique. :-) fpGUI is also not production ready, but
every day it's getting closer.
I am also not interested in writing a new IDE - I love Lazarus.
Coming from years of developing in Delphi, I feel right at home with
Lazarus. Instead with fpGUI, I am constantly improving the
constructors available for each class, allowing me to fully setup a
component with one or two lines of code.

I'll help as I can. I'm not a real developer, just a Mechanical/Industrial Engineer that have to code a lot, specially in scilab and Object Pascal (and often in VBA to get what I want from a spreadsheet :-).
So, I might help by reporting bugs and sending simple patches.
