The app is at work, so I will only can send screenshots tomorrow. If
you have access to Windows, you can use the Character Map app
(Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools) to see as well.

By default, Windows's Character Map app uses Arial.  I only noticed
now, that if I change the "Characet set" combo from Unicode to "DOS:
United States" or to "Windows:Western" I get different characters in
the grid.

So I guess it does depend on the Font & Character Set used.  How do
you specify a "character set" in Lazarus?
