I tried to install Lazarus various times and always receive the message:

The string before the word "cpio" modify each time I saw the error.
Would it a checksum of any kind?
Is this correct to admit that it isn't possible to install Lazarus
0.9.18 under linux Fedora Core 5? Is the message an indication of an
error the package downloaded?
I've installed this new version under Mandriva 2006? Is it possible that
it runs in error under Fedora?
May someone of you give me another suggestion?
It might be a corrupt rpm. Try one from a different mirror.
cpio is enternally used by rpm to read the package
