Have you tried compiling the fontdemo? AFAIR it compiles under Linux too.

Subject: Re: [lazarus] PDF functions in Lazarus
Hi David
I have installed PowerPDF. Where to get some examples in Linux? The
ones with the package seem to be windows based. I am in a bit of hurry
for the getting the Payslip program up for school. I did the work early
in Delphi with output in RTF file. But my boss insists to take on pdf.
I have removed my Delphi machine.

Hi Nataraj,
I'm using PowerPDF in Delphi. It's an open-source library from Tory.net.
Whilst I haven't tried using it under Lazarus yet, I should think it
might work as it isn't so fancy but does the basics quite well.
