Forgot to mention. Using Ubuntu Linux 6.06.
Building Lazarus with FPC 2.0.5 (or is that 2.0.x) doesn't give that
strange "Local variable" messages, but I also get the "Left" property
doesn't exist error, and Lazarus crashes.

This is what Lazarus writes to the console...

Hi,

I compiled FPC 2.1.1 (latest svn) just fine.

I then got latest Lazarus (svn) and did a clean all and make all and
get the following output. Is this normal?

Also after Lazarus is build, I run the new executable and Lazarus
fails to load with a error:
"Error reading SplashScreen.Left: Unknown property: "Left". and
then Lazarus dies completely.
