It is very important to remember who your target audience is.  The
people I'm targeting, wouldn't even know what a Control Panel is.  :-)
90% of the time they will stick with whatever the default theme was,
and maybe change the desktop background (they just love to do that).

When I implement the Image Style/Theme in fpGUI, I'll have a look how
Gnome and KDE handle themes, but as long as I have the basic themes
covered, that is the important thing for me. Qt does the same, it has
5 or so built-in themes and allows you to write your own if you
require.  Also, as far as I know, if you change the KDE theme, a Qt
app is not going to change as well. The Qt app will stick with it's
ClearLook/Plastique look. (I think)
