echo -n to remove newlines.
Fpc is working correct on this.
And although md5 have collision (as do any hash system with a defined
length, if you have a limited set of returns possibility, even very
large, you can collide it), it is still "correctly" secure for non
confidential data.
Someone who breaks an md5 either has a lot of time on his hands, or
some sort of computer farm. In other words, he is really willing to
find it, and real encryption would be by far better than hash.
