One thing to keep in mind, is that you need to make a complete rebuild,
i.e. first do a make clean.
In the configure build lazarus dailog:
* Set the target for everything, except Starter and Examples to
"Clean+Build"
* In the options textbox, set "-dTRANSLATESTRING" (without ")
