Hi,
After a new 64 bit Linux install, I'm trying to install Free Pascal and
Lazarus on AMD 64 using the packages hosted on Sourceforge. The
available files are :
fpc-2.0.4-2.x86_64.rpm
fpc-doc-2.0.4-2.x86_64.rpm
fpc-src-2.0.4-0.x86_64.rpm
lazarus-0.9.20-0.x86_64.rpm
However, it's a no go - lazarus won't install as the fpc-src package is
2.0.4-0 and the lazarus package needs fpc-src-2.0.4-2.
Can anyone help me out please?
Normally I don't use the Lazarus packages as I usually install the Free
Pascal packages and then install Lazarus in my home directory using svn.
However, this won't work either as I keep getting a "permission denied"
error on the exec /tools/svn2revisioninc during the make process!
