I know, but for someone editing the xml in a text editor (like me),
having the tags there means less typing. That was the original purpose.
Ok, knowing the reason for the open/close tags format make more sense
now. I tend to do quick edits with a text editor myself and agree
that a open/close tag is less typing in that case. A quick fix
(compromise) could be to modify 'makeskel' to use open/close tags but
on the same line with no spaces between. Easy for text editing and
makes LazDoc happy.
