As far as I know the best way to create documentation is using lazdoc and lazde. It can generate html, which can be transformed to chm. (ms hmtl workshop works on on linux using wine too). With Andrew Haines CHMHelpViewer the content can be shown.

maybe its easyer to use html directly.

I intend to extend fpdoc generated pages so they point to a wiki pages where correction and additions can be made (this is long term) though. When we make a lazarus 1.0 release, we can use httrack to extract all data from the wiki and add that as documentation.

htttrack copys also wiki menus and such stuff wikihelp does this not its written especialy
to have only the contents of the wiki as html.

But i think the help must be translateable and this is my question :)
