Yeah, I wrote that component! Unfortunately the project that needed
that component had a change in direction and we opted to rather write
a CGI web based application instead. The Mozilla Plugin Panel could
display Flash and Acrobat files under Windows - the Linux support
still needed work.
What it did was implement the methods that a Mozilla or Firefox
browser plugin looked. From the browser pluging point of view, they
don't even know they are not running in a browser! In theory and
browser plugin should be able to work this way.
BTW:
Mozilla or Firefox is not required, only the browser plugin.
