This is not true. I have never had blank messages from Philip. I am using Thunderbird on windows. I guess Thunderbird is smart enough to read that mail format.
Ok, their are a select few email clients that can read TNEF format, but it is a very small number. I received a RichText email from Outlook the other day - I use Thunderbird and couldn't read the email. After some Google'ing I found the problem. Thunderbird doesn't support TNEF yet and it has already been registered as a feature request. [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77811] I think the mailing list might convert the TNEF to a more supported format before distribution because I can read his emails to the mailing list without problem as well. I just thought [out of the kindness of my heart :-)] I would give him a heads-up on the *potential* problem, if anybody ever told him they cannot read his emails and only see a winmail.dat attachment. -- Graeme Geldenhuys There's no place like S34° 03.168' E018° 49.342' _________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject archives at http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailarchives
