Try
FileType:=[ftNormal,ftArchive,ftReadOnly];
Really the implementation of Lazarus is not the same one of Delphi,
possibly change later.

The component TFileListBox don't work.
With FileListBox1 do begin
FileType:=[ftNormal,ftReadOnly];
Mask:='*.*';
Directory:='/usr/local/bin/';
end;
Display nothing.
Also try with
Mask='*';
Directory:='/usr/local/bin';
nothing change.
