I was going to apply the patch, but it just came to my mind that the
problem may be caused by the fact that on Windows (and sometimes gtk
1) we use ISO encoding, and gtk2 and gtk1 on new distros we use UTF-8

I noticed that Diogo is the only person on the list with an accent on
the name, so that's why we didn't get this bug before.

So, I think that if we fix this bug this way, we will create a bug on windows =)

The quick fix would be simply leaving the accent out, and the long
term fix would be finishing the Windows Unicode Support:
