About platforms:

So, how should it be fixed? Label or path?
I still think consistency must take priority. So the location of the
executable must be the same as when you specify only the -FU from the
'Compiler Options - Other' tab or command line. Lazarus should not
insert the -o switch automatically.
As for the MacOSX platform and how such a change will affect it. I
can't comment on that as I have never work with it and have no idea
what a 'app bundle' is.
