Ok. Then create a package for them and add the LCL as dependency to
the package.
This way your "standard units" can see the LCL units.
All Units not in your project will not get the project unit search
paths. This is a difference to Delphi.

Lazarus does not expand the unix shell ~ shortcut.
And '*', '?' are normal characters.
