few related and had to change a makefile to get dbf.o etc. to build.
dbf will probably not function on Sparc because it is not endianness clean.
Thanks, noted. I'd better keep my hands off bigide on SPARC at least until
I've built up a far better grounding in how things work.
I'll carry on tinkering and might raise specific problems later on.
