I've not started tinkering yet but I can confirm that FPC looks OK,
in particular that the ppcsparc symlink is intact.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I found yesterday the same error on amd64.

Try 'make clean all PP=ppcsparc'.

I suspected it might affect other targets. Fix looking good here, I'm away from my desk for an hour and will report further when I know more.
