Idem for me with Ubuntu 7.10 and fpc 2.2.0 and lazarus 0.9.24
Imposible to install component !
Imposible to compiling IDE !
(Grant to files are OK)
Compilation abort without error.... and Lazarus do not restart ...
I dont know how do !
