[lazarus] Ubuntu (debian) install problem

Hello

I have recently installed FPC and Lazarus on an Ubuntu (Debian) AMD64 
system, but on running Lazarus it comes up with an error saying FPC 
source was not found. Has anyone had this problem previously and fixed 
it, if so some help would be appreciated.
