I assume folks over here are more color sensitive than other groups. Hence
I decide to post a question here.

I have a grayscale image. No fancy stuff. Just plain grayscale. I place
the image into Acrobat PDF, then printed it. I opened the image in
Photoshop, then printed it. The output is quite different. Acrobat print
was darker than PhotoShop.

I assume either application was doing some fancy profiling to the
image. But the question is which one did correctly? I mean if I send the
PDF to RIP, which image will be closer to what RIP will produce?
