Hi Marti,

Two things:

1: I'm implementing YCbCr color profile support in ImageMagick and was testing this
with two profiles:

YCbCr 601 to Lab colorspace conversion profile (ycc601.icm)
YCbCr 709 to Lab colorspace conversion profile (ycc709.icm)

- found in (earlier?) distributions of LCMS. Using these on an YCbCr source image and
converting to sRGB colors, the converted image looks terrible with almost all colors
wrong. For example, converting black (0,0,0) gives the RGB color (15,91,0). This was
with v1.10.

I just tested if this was different with 1.11beta, but I get the same wrong RGB color.
Converting to CMYK colors with a US Web Coated SWOP profile also gives wrong resulting
colors. Is this a bug in 1.10/1.11beta?

2: I'm also working on adding a postscript CSA to EPS files generated with
ImageMagick. EPS files with CSA's from LCMS look great. Colors are excellent! But I
can't make it work with the small bit of postscript code in the end of the CSA:

/Current exch /ColorSpace defineresource pop

I have to change this to setcolorspace to make it work.

Would it be possible to change the cmsGetPostScriptCSA function such that only the
array is emmited? Applications wanting the remaining info (product name, description,
etc.) may easily add this by using the API functions in LCMS.

Further, the "%!" postscript magic in the beginning means the CSA must be encapsulated
in %%BeginDocument %%EndDocument DSC comments, which isn't really necessary.

An final argument for only emitting the CSA is that a well behaved postscript file
checks for CIE-based colorspace support before trying to set one, which means
colorspace setting is conditional.

Thanks for any replies.

/Lars
