Yes, as far as you used sRGB profile. Matrix-shaper profiles does only one intent , and this is perceptual, because there is an implicit black point scaling.
I think I know what you mean "with implicit BP scaling", however Table 20 in chapter "6.3 Required tags for profiles" in the "Specification ICC.1:2001-12, Version 4.0.0" IMO sais, that the matrix/TRC tags of input and display profiles are to be interpreted *colorimetrically*. So I'm a bit confused.
