Yes. This is how all the color interpolation is done in lcms. I used to call it "CLUT" 
instead of lattices... anyway is same
concept. Lcms does support any number of point, not only 13 and up to 8 dimensions on 
input and 16 on output.

But this is used internally. There is no need to worry about that, unless you really 
need to do some black magic. In such case, see
the tutorial, "13 - LUT handling" for more info.
