Jan Peter:

Below, my answers. Hopefully, Marti will agree with them ;-)

Yes, as a matter of fact, Marti provides the tool "icclink", that he calls
"device link generator", in his site. It links two or more profiles into a
single devicelink profile. The source is included in his distribution, the
you can compile them for Mac OS X. Windows binaries are in his site.

He has enabled that in one of his sample tools, "tifficc", with a new parameter, "-b".
I guess, "icclink" can be enhanced with that option, since the package now
supports BPC.

Device link creation is possible, since it already exists; but it is provided
as a command line tool. Don't know if OS X supports such a interaction.

If you want a fully-fledged application, then you need to think about a UI,
allowing the selection of profiles, rendering intents. description to include in
the device link file, precision of it (grid size), your optional BPC, etc... and
synchronize it with the OS (so that it searches for the profiles in the right
folders), plus an error handling policy...
Too much for my inexistent Mac programming knowledge!
