Hi Jan-Peter,

Very sorry for the delay, I've been very busy with the release details.

I'm willing to include a version for MacOSX, or at least some prebuilt binaries.

Hope to get it ready for the beginning of next week.

Best regards,
Marti.

Subject: [Lcms-user] MacOS X Installer for lcms

Hi, Marti, Hi List

I´m just playing a little bit with lcms.
My goal is to use lcms as an devicelink generator with blackpoint
compensation and the quartz-filters from MacOSX Panther as an
PDF-ColorServer with the DeviceLinks from lcms.

The DeviceLink creation works, but we had an problem with the not
available pqseg tag, which is announced for version 1.12

As I´m not a programmer, the compilation of the sources is more
complicated then a normal installing procedure.

A friend of mine plans to build a little application, to make an
interface for the devicelink creation, that the user has not to use the
shell.

But still, it would be nice to make an installable version of the whole
lcms package for MacOSX.

My question: Are there any people on this list, which can help us, by
doing this ?

Marti, do you think, it would be possible to put the MacOSX installer on
your website ?

Colorful greetings from berlin

:-) Jan-Peter
