Thank you for answering!

The problem was that configure script was unable to find shared tiff, jpeg librarys and include files,
since Fink's /sw/include and /sw/lib were not in the normal search path!
I resolved this by symbolic linking of those two to /usr/local/lib and /usr/local/include.
I have not intensively tested tifficc and jpegicc compiled that way but it looks OK!

BTW: When I last checked Fink's lcms was wersion 1.09-2
