Hi Marti,

I've just been testing Beta 3 of the new Profiler. My first impressions are that
it is absolutely brilliant! Just a few ideas for improvements:

1. When you acquire an image from the scanner, would it be possible to load it
immediately afterwards? When I first did it I thought that it had not worked, I
did not realise I had to go to File->Open Image File after doing the acquire.

2. I cannot get the visual testing of an image to work. After I had generated
and saved a profile I pressed the color icon. The computer paused for a short
time but the image was not changed. I tried loading a new image (not the Q60
scan) but this did not change either. Am I doing something wrong?

3. There's no way (that I can see) of turning off the profile grid. In
qtMeasurementTool I could select a blank grid which made visual testing easier,
but I cannot see how to do this on the new profiler.

4. When I select 'Pick' I get a number of messages saying: Patch 'A4' clipped.
What does this mean and do I need to worry about it?

Overall though, I am very impressed at how easy the profiler is to use. I like
the animated graphs as well - very cool.

Kind regards,

Robert Bergs.
