Hi,

Yes, there is a trick. Download the profile holding tiff lab encoding here:
http://www.littlecms.com/tiff8adobe.zip

And then use it as input profile:

tifficc -i lcmstiff8.icm  ... etc.

There is another TIFF Lab encoding, pretty rare, that uses ICC way. But I have been 
unable to find any sample. In such case you
could use the built-in lab profile

tifficc -i *Lab ... etc
