I think I made a mistake re: Photoshop and simplified monitor profiles. I think it's only when Photoshop uses the monitor space as the working space that it simplifies the profile. (and I don't think many folks would use the monitor space as the working space any more, anyway). I've asked about this in the photoshop newsgroup, anyhow.
