Hi Peter, Welcome onboard. Very pleased to meet you. To have feedback, from knowleage people is great, and even more from a high end device manufacturers :-)
Regarding the list... well, SourceForge is giving this service absolutely for free, so, honestly, I cannot complain from such a gift. Yes, I know, the list sometimes experiences problems, but ... hey, there is no spam and the maintenance is very easy. For searching, there is a trick-- if you access the list from here: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?forum_id=1912 You have a seach facility on the left side of page. The search combo now shows "This mailing list" as search target. I don't know of any way to download the whole archive, indeed. And regarding lcms, that is now alive and well. HP is sponsoring the project so you could expect it will continue growing. For next revision, lcms will be fully ICC 4 compliant, for example. Hi, I'm new to the list and would like to get an overlook over the mailings. I know the archive on sf.net, but would much more prefer to be able to browse and search the list mailings offline. Is there a download option for the complete list archive or has someone a private archive (if possible complete) and can upload this archive or e-mail it to me? But let me introduce myself first. My name is Peter and I'm a photographic engineer, working for Quatographic in Braunschweig, germany. We're a manufacturer of high-end CRT's and TFT's for color professionals like people working in the prepress industry, graphic designers or photographers. We also offer monitor calibration software/hardware bundles called "silver haze". I'm posting and reading this list private, but I thought you might be interested in my background nonetheless. I'm always interested to extend my knowledge and I'm also very much interested in open source solutions for the color field and like what Marti's doing :-) Kind regards Peter ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
