Xavier,
which LCMS profiler are you using? The old, open source one, or the new one (which runs on Windows only, and is no longer open source)?

Hi again,
Is there a way to evaluate the quality of the profile I generated
for my scanner?
- I understand that the 'dE report' reflects the quality of my
scanner, rather than that of my profiling process. By the way,
using 33 CLUT points and Local convergence analysis, I got
Average dE: 2.51 Standard deviation: 2.26 Peak: 14.64 Min: 0.32
Are those typical values? They're much larger than the examples given in the MANUAL.TXT file...
- I've made available the CIE diagram given by the checker for this profile at:
<http://xavier.nodet.free.fr/CIEdiagram-HP1210.png>
I'm concerned by what seem to be quite large errors in the blue area: different patches seem to have very different corrections (if I understand the meaning of this diagram correctly). Is that the sign of errors in my profiling process?
Thanks.
