I have a local copy of older lcms versions.

Do you like it for the results you achieve or advanced options? At the
moment I'm mainly interested in building monitor profiles. And because
of the bug all Photoshop versions do have when using a LUT-based
monitor profile (gray balance is lost) I'd prefer a simple matrix
based profile anyway.

Are the reasons known? Just curious...

Has somebody already tested if there's a difference in quality of the
new profiler and the old one when building matrix monitor profiles? I
guess that there's no or little difference, because that's a pretty
simple profile type. Haven't found time to take a closer look.
